Learning Support Assistants Wanted

Full Time and Part Time

We are looking for dynamic, compassionate and energetic Learning Support Assistants to join our team. We have a positions in Key Stage 2.

Beech Lodge school is an exciting, rapidly expanding school for children who have struggled in mainstream education. Our pupils really want friends but find friendships tricky. They need help to have the confidence to trust adults and to have a go with work that they don’t believe that they can do. They need help to understand their emotions and how to manage them. They need staff who will be accepting, curious and empathic.

Our pupils have many skills and talents, we are looking for staff who enjoy at least some of the following: playing dodge ball, football, taking part in outdoor education, long boarding, wood work, arts and crafts, board games, animal care etc.

You will expressly want a career in education and to work with vulnerable children. Experience working with children who have experienced developmental trauma and or dyslexia/dyscalculia is desirable. You will receive support and training, a competitive salary.
You will need to have good levels of written and spoken English, maths and be IT literate.
