Lionheart - Great Minds Think Differently
We will shortly be posting vacancies for positions in Lionheart our exciting new specialist provision at Beech Lodge for pupils with Dyslexia and other related learning difficulties due to open in 2019. It will be the first truly specialist SpLD provision in Berkshire and our motto is "Great Minds Think Differently". We want to recruit specialist staff who can help empower these children to gain confidence in their learning and achieve their potential.
We hope to open next year with a small cohort of pupils who have diagnoses of Dyslexia and Dyscalculia and are working approx. 1-2 years academically behind their peers. They will require immersive learning experiences pitched at their level and have the opportunity to enjoy other activities, play and outdoor learning with pupils at the main school.
We are building new facilities for Lionheart and the following year in January 2020 we will be able to accommodate children and young people between the ages of 8 and 18.
We are looking for dynamic, innovative and fun specialist Class Teachers and Teaching Assistants who want to join us on this exciting journey.
