We are very sad to announce the passing of Megan, one of our wonderful school dogs who passed away during the school holidays. Owned by our Outdoor Learning teacher Katy Brown and her husband, she was always popping in and out of classrooms and was a much loved character at the school.
Megan’s 12 years were all about people and mountains. Wherever she went she greeted people with her beautiful hazel eager eyes. She was always with people, from youth groups walking mountains, camping or canoeing in Hurley, those taking their Mountain Leader qualification who wanted company walking through the mountains to her final years at Beech Lodge. She played with and comforted all the children at the school and was by their side for nearly all their outdoor learning experiences.
Rest in peace dear Megan – you will be greatly missed by us all.
