August 2012

On 16th August Hurley Parish Council agreed to support our planning application for a temporary change of use to a school for Plot 1 Top Farm in Hurley, Berkshire. The support was subject to our signing a Section 106 agreement which legally binds us to a 2 year temporary change of use with a maximum of 14 pupils. The planning application is still subject to Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead granting the application and we should know the outcome of that by the end of September.

Having this facility will give us the opportunity to get the school up and running by January 2013 in an interim capacity in order that we can fulfill the immediate need from parents in a small way and ensure that our educational model works efficiently with a small number of children. It is an ideal temporary solution for us to have a scaled-down mini version of our school whilst negotiations continue over our much larger permanent site.
