We were absolutely delighted with the feedback from our new Apprenticeshop and were thrilled to see our pupils working so hard enjoying their new roles as salespeople! Learning everything from working the till, taking credit card payments, customer service to direct marketing (Emily wearing an advertising sandwich board in Maidenhead High St!) it was all a great success. At final count we made over £600 for the Shanly Foundation COVID-19 fund so thank you to everyone who made, donated and supported our charity shop.
We will be re-opening next year for two days a week during term times for pupils on our Route16 careers programme to experience first hand what working in retail with real-life customers is all about. We can’t wait!
